Tested 25,651 SME Stock Pairs for Hidden Correlation, and ONLY One Survived Every Check

We built a residual correlation detector across 227 actively traded SME stocks on bhavcopydata.com, tested all 25,651 pairs, and ran the two strongest results through a permutation test and a rank correlation check built to catch a false positive. One pair collapsed under rank correlation to something indistinguishable from noise. The other, M.V.K. Agro Food Products (MVKAGRO) and Polysil Irrigation Systems (POLYSIL), held up across fourteen months of rolling windows and a permutation test that never matched it once in two hundred trials.

US Treasury Yields Back Up After a Promising Jobs Report, and India's Long Gilt ETFs Continue to Slide

The US 10 year Treasury yield dipped in the days before Fed Chair Kevin Warsh's 28 August Jackson Hole speech, on a Treasury bond-buyback report and falling oil prices, then climbed straight back to 4.79% once Warsh's speech offered no rate cut signal and the August jobs report beat forecasts. India's 10 year yield kept climbing the whole time, to 6.96%, on a hawkish RBI and a fresh oil price shock of its own. Insights from bhavcopydata.com show India's long duration gilt ETFs still sliding through it, even as the 5 year segment and every liquid fund on the site kept climbing.

Stock futures open interest rose across 372 of 612 actively traded names even as prices fell, NIFTY's own futures carried a Short Buildup reading, and Eternal (ETERNAL) and Laurus Labs (LAURUSLABS) were sold both in block and bulk deals and in the futures market by the same foreign funds.
